Have you ever wanted to party at The Magic House with an adult beverage and adult friends for a great cause? On Thursday, June 20 from 7:00 – 10:00 pm you can! Bring your friends, have a drink, and revisit some of your favorite childhood memories.
The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum is hosting an Adult Play Date to promote their Rally Saint Louis effort to bring an interactive play exhibit to Lambert – St. Louis International Airport. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Come enjoy the museum and help us do something great for the Metro area.
If you have ever spent time in the airport, you have witnessed stressed out parents struggling to get to the gate with their excited little ones scurrying about. We all feel for the mom who does her best to wrangle in a child while simultaneously navigating a crowded TSA security line. With an exhibit at the airport, there is a light at the end of the terminal and a positive outlet for a child’s energy.
When many tourists come to the St. Louis area, their first impression of the region is our airport. Whether it is an in-and-out business trip or a layover to somewhere else, the airport is a crucial marketing tool of the wonderful parts of our city. As recently noted in a New York Times opinion piece, one of St. Louis’ best qualities is how family friendly our town can be. What better way to convey that than a uniquely Magic House installation for all to see, feel, and hear.
So if you’re up for a good time and want to help a great cause, come join us at 516 S. Kirkwood Rd. on Thursday night. For more information please call The Magic House at (314) 822-8900.
