There is a broad team behind the Rally Saint Louis platform whom we will introduce St. Louisans to in the coming months.
Name: Heath Harris, but you can call me Heathro.
Role on Rally STL: I took the initial website concepts and art direction and blew out the rest of the design, page layouts and user interface.
How long have you lived in St. Louis: I’ve lived in the St. Louis area off and on for 30 years, in the city proper for a total of ten.
Favorite St. Louis oddity: My favorite St. Louis oddity is the Laclede’s Landing Wax Museum. This place is like nothing else. Last time I went there, the Last Supper scene featured a wax Jesus whose wax finger had fallen off, and was sitting next to the wax bread, wax wine and real cockroach.
How did you become part of the Rally STL team: I became part of the Rally STL team because I am the Creative Director at Infuz, and we proudly developed the Rally STL website with our good friends and neighbors at Elasticity.
What’s your favorite area restaurant? My favorite area restaurant is Everest. Their lunch buffet is the best thing in the world, and there is nowhere else in Downtown St. Louis where I am greeted with a “Namaste” each time I visit.
What do you think of Rally STL? I love the concept of Rally STL, and the ideas coming in are really incredible and inspiring. I do wish there was more engagement with the diverse populations in the metro area, to ensure the project is representative of our community as a whole.
What is your personal dream for St. Louis? My dream is that St. Louis bridges the insidious racial divide that currently results in what should be one big city actually being two large towns that share a border at Delmar Ave.
Provel cheese. Why? Provel cheese because it’s FUNKY.
